This one is probably the most common. It’s easy to focus on the “home” part of the motorhome and just give the “motor” part a quick kick. But a tire kick isn’t an inspection. Your tires are carrying your entire home and family. Before any trip, you have to get hands-on: check the pressure (when they’re cold!) and look at every single sidewall for cracks.
And your brakes? They are working to stop a house. Let that sink in for a second. They deserve a professional look to make sure they’re ready for the highway.
Forgetting How Tricky Arizona Weather Can Be
This is the classic Arizona trap. You’re in shorts in Phoenix, but you’re heading north to the Grand Canyon or Flagstaff. You will hit freezing temperatures, especially overnight.
